Metals, Environment and Human Health: Bridging the Gap
Date: April 27, 2007
Wang Center, Stony Brook University

This workshop is co-sponsored by the Center for Environmental Molecular Science (CEMS), the Consortium for Inter-Disciplinary Environmental Research (CIDER), and the Stony Brook 3MT Integrative Graduate Education and Research Training (NSF-IGERT) Program. Attendance is open to everyone. If you have questions or need travel information, please contact Ms. Andrea Illausky (aillausky@notes.cc.sunysb.edu).

This day-long workshop will feature six leading researchers from around the country, who will discuss the behavior of metals as they relate to environmental processes and human health. The goals are to facilitate interaction among scientists in environmental chemistry, toxicology, and epidemiology, and to identify future directions for research and collaboration. A
round-table discussion will allow audience participation.

Date: Friday, April 27, 2007
Place: Lecture Hall #2, The Wang Center, Stony Brook University
This will be an all day event beginning with a coffee/light breakfast at 8:30am.
